Ventura County Court Simi Valley Relocates Eviction and Unlawful Detainer Cases to Ventura

Effective July 29, 2013, all documents relating to Ventura county court Simi Valley unlawful detainer cases will be processed in the Ventura clerk’s office located on the second floor of the Hall of Justice, Room 210.  All unlawful detainer matters will be heard on Thursdays in Courtroom 44 at 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

For efficiency and timeliness of processing, the court encourages to the extent possible that all unlawful detainer documents be dropped for filing in the Ventura court location.  Any documents dropped off at the Ventura county court Simi Valley East County Courthouse on Mondays or Tuesdays will be received stamped and forwarded to Ventura for processing.

Documents may be dropped at the civil filing counters, or at window 14, in Room 210 during regular business hours.  A drop box is located directly outside of the clerk’s office, and documents placed in the box by 5:00 p.m. will be deemed deposited for filing that same business day.
