Sandra McCarthy founded A People’s Choice in 1980 and has worked exclusively in the legal field since 1976. She earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has served as a freelance paralegal, law office manager, and paralegal studies teacher. Sandra was President of the California Association of Legal Document Assistants (CALDA) from 2004–2005.
In the early 1980s, our clients came to us through attorney referrals, often individuals unable to afford full attorney representation. Recognizing the need for affordable legal help, Sandra expanded the company to offer low-cost, non-attorney legal document services throughout California.
Today, we offer in-person, telephonic, and online interview options to make the process as convenient as possible.
We are proud to have Ian Corzine as part of our team. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to A People’s Choice.
Ian earned his Juris Doctorate degree with Honors and Order of the Coif from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Davis. Before practicing law, Ian served as Executive Assistant to the Governor of California and studied public administration during his term as a California Executive Fellow. He also prosecuted federal crimes while working as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of California.
Widely known as “Metaverse Man” on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms, Ian provides businesses with strategies and roadmaps for launching into the Metaverse. With extensive experience in social media law, he advises companies on compliance with international laws on blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, and the Metaverse.
