The Sierra County Probate Division hears legal matters including guardianship, conservatorship, and probate. Office hours are from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm through 4:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding court holidays. Wills must be lodged with the court within thirty days of the decedent passing away.
